Kingston Archers is an archery club based in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire.
It consists of 43 senior and 4 junior members, the members come from all walks of life and range
from 12 to 70 years of age.
The present club members shoot a mixture of recurve bows and traditional Longbows, people who shoot with Compound bows are also welcome.
Unfortunately Kingston Archers have no facilities for people interested in Field Archery and no crossbows are permitted.
Members usually practice archery at least once a week.
Quite a few will shoot on a Sunday morning and sometimes on a weekday evening during the summer months.
Depending on the use of the field by other sports, members are able to use the facilities at other times as long as there are at least two people present.
During the winter the club has the use of an indoor facility in the area.
Members can enter shoots that are put on by other clubs either locally or nationally.
We hold regular in-club shoots for members to compete against each other, culminating with club championships in September.
