On January 24th 2002 Westbury Homes and Bloor Homes presented the Bowerhill Village Hall Trust with a cheque for over £300,000 for the construction of the new village hall on the site of the existing hall. Although the cost was originally estimated at £250,000 Westbury and Bloor have guaranteed the extra £50,000 to minimise a predicted shortfall due to escalating build and development costs.
